This is a highly ornate and decorative old Anglo-Indian silver belt buckle with red and black ribbon belts. It dates to the early 20th century and is made up of three separate sections - two panels are joined by a hinge and the third separates to act as the buckle clasp. Each panel has a little Hindu figure (Krishna in the middle). Box has 4079 stamped on side and measures 5 1/4 inches X 3 1/4 inches X 1 1/14 inches. The belts or ribbons measure 25 inches X 2.5 inches.
